  • Stop into Thanos Import Market at 105 Green Street, grab a salad or one of their 5-star sandwiches for lunch and take home some of their fine aged cheeses, meats and produce to build your own charcuterie platter later.

Best way to get outdoors
  • On the outskirts of Hawley-Green is Lincoln Park. A six-lane pool is on the property, as are athletic fields and courts, and a playground with swings, slides, seesaws and climbing bars. Also at the top of the park is an elliptical observation drive with excellent views of Downtown Syracuse and surrounding areas.

Best place for a pint
  • Head over to Guilfoil's Irish Pub for all the old school neighborhood tavern feels. This bar has been a family-owned business since 1944 and serves up cold drafts and craft beers, weekly live music and American pub food.
