Syracuse - The Heart of New York

Onondaga County is home to many celebrities, but it's this time of the year when our most well-known superstar comes back to visit. Like all famous icons, this one in particular has quite a strong following of supportive fans. So supportive, in fact, that they come in droves to get up close and personal with our well-known figure; the Syracuse snowflake.

Whether it's your first time visiting the area or you're a regular, the Syracuse Convention and Visitors Bureau is thrilled to welcome you to our winter wonderland.

Take in the fresh, cool air as you zip down one of our ski slopes or soar along one of our well-groomed snowmobiling trails. Relax as you hear the crackle of firewood while you dine fireside at a local restaurant. Explore the savings inside any of our many fantastic shopping destinations. Treat yourself to a performance by one of Syracuse's many cultural organizations. Your options are endless.

Whether you're here on vacation, business, or visiting family, we hope you enjoy the warm Central New York hospitality extended by all of us, especially our local celebrity.
