Syracuse taxi drivers get free car wash

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The taxi drivers of Syracuse are getting a special thank you.
The Syracuse Convention and Visitor's Bureau provided free car washes by the staff of the SCVB, as well as refreshments and packages of the latest area visitor guides for all taxi drivers in Syracuse.
"We wanted to acknowledge the service they do every day. They're out there greeting our guests, they're the first point of contact -- we want to make sure they feel as special as they make our guests feel," says SCVB president David Holder.
George Luttman, a taxi driver of Century Taxi, was recognized for his exceptional hospitality and was the recipient of an award and gift from the SCVB.
